THE TRUTH ABOUT SELF-BELIEF

So – what is new with me this week? I’ve started prep (officially) and I’m so excited to embark on this journey this year. For anyone who’s been following me a while or listened to my podcast episodes from the start – you will know that I have HUGE goals for competing and love everything bodybuilding has taught me about my own self-confidence, belief, strength and resilience. I know what I am capable of achieving and I know I will 100% achieve it moving forward. Which is why I wanted to share this journey with you all again this year and in my most recent podcast episode dive a little more into what it means to develop self-belief. I want to give you guys my take on THE TRUTH behind it all as I see it and how you can build your self-belief too!

Self-belief is a person’s belief in their ability to complete tasks and to achieve their goals.

It’s not simply thinking positively or thinking you can do something but actually about taking action. Self-belief grows the more action you take and the more you follow through on the things you say you want and take action on them.

If you want to get fit and healthy or lose some weight – your self-belief in achieving this goal will increase the more you follow through on the actions required to get you there. If you want to leave your current job and start your own business – your self-belief will grow the more action you take moving forward in developing your business idea. If you want to be happy in your relationships with loved ones, friends or your significant other – your self-belief will help you move forward with this when you take action and put systems in place to support these relationships or develop new ones.

The key to all of these goals is – action. You are what you do, and so if you change what you do, you can change what you are, how you think and how you feel.

But how can we all start taking action on these things and develop our self-belief…. Well for me there are a few key areas and I address these in episode 54 – they include: developing a positive mindset, getting to know yourself and taking action. I would love to know what you all think of this episode and as always encourage anyone who tunes in to either message me or repost the episode to their instagram story and tag me!
