It\u2019s been another epic week for me in terms of putting in the work and focusing on what matters most. It\u2019s been a successful week and I honestly think it\u2019s simply because I\u2019ve ticked the boxes daily, not over thought anything and just showed up each day for prep, my training, my cardio, posing, business, and loved ones. Often in life we can get wrapped up in our long-term goals and focus too much on them to a point where we can become overwhelmed or anxious. I\u2019ve definitely learned over the years that whilst having long term goals is important \u2013 what matters most is simply showing up and getting the job done. The moment you overthink something or anticipate how hard or difficult it might be will be the moment you allow your mind to talk yourself out of it. Cardio in the morning early isn\u2019t easy \u2013 but don\u2019t overthink it \u2013 just show up. Training sessions are tough \u2013 if you are really pushing yourself, you\u2019ll know how much it\u2019ll take out of you and your muscles will feel it \u2013 don\u2019t overthink it \u2013 just show up and get it done. Following your meal plan for a long period of time without any free meals or treats could become overwhelming or demotivating when you think about it long term \u2013 but don\u2019t allow yourself to think these things \u2013 just show up and get that meal ticked off. Most of what we do day-to-day is about simply showing up and getting it done. This is the secret to success \u2013 if you can show up daily \u2013 the results come \u2013 progress is made in the small steps you take each day and your progress relies on this \u2013 it all adds up. If I allowed myself to overthink the process of prep \u2013 being just over 14 weeks out \u2013 knowing how much weight and bodyfat I have to drop \u2013 I could become overwhelmed and unmotivated. I may even think I\u2019m not going to get there in time, but that serves no purpose in the here and now \u2013 because here and now \u2013 today \u2013 this moment – is what matters most. Show up Bex \u2013 get the job done to the best of your ability and trust in the process. So in essence \u2013 it\u2019s not about the quick fix and more about understanding the long game and focusing on showing up daily.
